Competitions

This year Feelin’ Blues will host the following competitions: JnJ (Open & Advanced), Solo Blues and Blues Showcase. 

This year we are going to have a special Friday Night Show!
During this show, the showcase competitors will perform, plus performances by the teachers and staff!

All winners will be announced during the Sunday night’s party.

J&J (Open):
Dance to 3 different songs. Tempos and blues styles will vary.
Prelims: Partners will rotate every song and will be ranked as individuals.
Finals: Partners will be paired together and ranked as a couple.
Prelims time: Saturday, January 23rd, 17:45
Finals time: Sunday, January 24th, 23:00

J&J (Advanced):
Dance to 3 different songs. Tempos and blues styles will vary.
Prelims: Partners will rotate every song and will be ranked as individuals.
Finals: Partners will be paired together and ranked as a couple.
Prelims time: Saturday, January 23rd, 17:45
Finals time: Sunday, January 24th, 23:00

Solo Blues:
Prelims: Dance to 3 different songs in an all-skate format.
Finals: Dance to multiple songs for a single phrase.
Prelims time: Friday, January 22nd, 17:45
Finals time: Friday, January 22nd, 23:00
